The LokalDrp Team set loose an out-of-this-world challenge for the Sarasota community: alien ducks had invaded the area, and it was up to local seekers to hunt one down. The drop, titled "Alien Invasion," was hidden at Red Bug Slough Preserve in Sarasota. Whoever found it would claim an Alien Duck Figure with a magnet bottom as their reward, with an invitation to share the discovery with the wider LokalDrp community.

The Clues

This was a medium-difficulty hunt, meaning seekers needed to pay close attention to the terrain. The real hint provided was: "Take the first sand trail off the mulched trail find tree on your left." It pointed hunters away from the main mulched path and onto a sandy offshoot, with a specific tree marking the spot.

The Discovery

On August 26, 2026, the alien duck was found. The finder, a LokalDrp seeker whose name wasn't made public, confirmed the successful hunt and shared a photo of the discovery. In their own words, the finder wrote: "I have confirmed this drop has been found."
